Eli Meir Kaplan is a commercial photographer and director who became interested in visual media after his parents brought home an early black and white video camera when he was four years-old. Eli's first of many videos on the camera was a stop-motion battle between He-Man and Skeletor.
Eli’s longstanding interest in the visual arts, storytelling, and meeting new people led him to documentary photography. He draws from his documentary background to capture genuine, aspirational, and intimate moments from the human experience in the commercial photography and video he does today.
Eli lives in Washington, DC with his wife and two daughters and has been told that he's fun to work with.
